Updating of Information

The usefulness of any home page is only as good as the contents provided within. Irrelevant and out-of-date information published on the Web may compromise the credibility and image of the agency concerned. Hence:

1. All State agencies are responsible for updating their respective information on the Internet and Intranet web pages.

2. Information on the Internet/Intranet should be updated regularly (daily if necessary) to reflect its currency.

3. "Copyright" notices should be posted at the end of the homepage.

4. Each ministry, department and agency should identify and authorise at least one person to be responsible for the update. This is to ensure that the update is genuine. This person should be the CIO of the said agency.
